Skytrex Production Operative- Resin and Metal casting
Skytrex is a home-grown, British business specialising in authentic, wargaming miniatures and premium scenic accessories for railway modellers. Skytrex has designed, manufactured and sold their own ranges to their loyal customers for many years.
In addition, we provide a comprehensive subcontracting service, from mould-making to production in both white metal and resin.
Future goals, and our partnership with Warlord Games, will ensure expansion of our business as we work to enhance our online presence to reach more hobbyists worldwide.
Position:Skytrex Production Operative
- Resin and Metal casting
37.5hrs a week.
Contract:Permanent
The purpose of the position:- Assisting in the production and casting of high-quality resin models.
- Assisting in the operation of centrifugal machines to cast high quality metal models/components efficiently and professionally that are to be used in Skytrex and third-party products.
- Maximise casting yield per mould.
- Quality checking castings.
- Care of production moulds to maximise both the yield and the shelf life of said products.
- Organisation and tidiness.
- Other duties.
- - Ability to work to targets, attention to detail and quality, mindset, organised, likes repetitive work.
- - Team worker, focus on quality, flexibility, target driven, problem solver.
- - Successful candidates will be asked to attend a trial shift.
