Would you be competent maintaining automated production line machinery in a Heavy Engineering environment (Large machinery)

If so then please read on

Option 1:

Monday to Friday days - 9am to 5:30pm - some flex around start times example 7am to 3:30pm
Role involves shift cover - covering shift engineers holidays/sickness working DAYS only 4on 4off 6am to 6pm. (approx. cover up to 12 shifts)
Holidays and Benefits: 21 days + 8 bank holidays, Life assurance, pension, private heal, attendance bonus, free parking

Option 2

Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm and Friday 6am to 4pm
Holidays and Benefits Overtime: x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays, Holidays: 25 days, Generous pension, Life assurance, onsite parking, enhanced parental leave.

Overview:

Working on large production line machinery we now require a Maintenance Fitter to join the Maintenance team.

Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter role:

To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
PPM's

The ideal candidate / Mechanical Fitter may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Time served apprentice trained or above
Previous experience working in a maintenance focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
Experience working with hydraulics, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, seal changes, pneumatic systems, welding, conveyors, chains, drive belts etc.

Mountsorrel, Barrow upon Soar, Loughborough, Rothley, Leicester and surrounding areas.
