Sense College Loughborough is a specialist Further Education (FE) college for young people with a wide range of disabilities. Our aim is to support students to become as independent as possible, empowering them to achieve their long-term goals.
We're looking for an organised, enthusiastic and personable Relationships and Communications Officer to join our dedicated team.
This is an exciting and varied role where you'll maintain and strengthen relationships with schools, families and colleagues, helping to promote the college's specialist provision and support student recruitment. You'll lead on communications, events and engagement activities, building positive connections with stakeholders and guiding prospective students and their families from their initial enquiry through to their first day at college.
Key responsibilities- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local schools, referral agencies and families.
- Planning and delivering college events, open days, tours and information sessions.
- Creating engaging communications across our website, social media, newsletters and promotional materials.
- Supporting prospective students throughout the admissions journey, providing a welcoming and professional experience.
- Championing the college's specialist provision and ensuring our communications reflect the values and impact of Sense College.
You'll be an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and a passion for building meaningful relationships. Whether you're coordinating events, creating engaging content or supporting families through the admissions process, you'll thrive in a role where no two days are the same.
Experience in communications, marketing, customer service, stakeholder engagement or education would be beneficial, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering a high-quality experience for everyone you work with.
Interview dates1st interview date (Telescreen): 23rd, 24th and 29th July.
2nd interview date (face to face): 3rd and 4th August at Sense College Loughborough.
