Quality Technician

A leading renewable energy company in the Leicestershire region has an exciting new opportunity for a Quality Technician to join the team. The company continues to expand its divisions, and this is a newly created opportunity where you will work alongside a small quality team. This is initially on a 6-month contract but has real potential to become a permanent opportunity in the future with career progression into the supplier quality team.

We're looking at offering a fixed-term contract based on £40k to £43k or an hourly rate circa £20 p/h (Umbrella). If FTC, then you will be eligible for the prorated benefits with the company.

Job purpose:

Minimise the likelihood and impact of poor quality from the supply chain. Complete the required activities within the quality team to ensure quality-approved components are received and stocked.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Goods Inward Inspection of both Mechanical and Electrical components.
• Champion investigations into deviations from specifications and supplier's corrective actions.
• Maintain Records for quality reporting.
