The Role
We are looking for a motivated and commercially minded Internal Sales Representative to join our Renewable Energy team at our UK office in Shepshed. This role will support sales activities across the renewable energy sector, working closely with customers, field sales engineers, and technical teams to provide tailored monitoring solutions for wind, solar, and emerging energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries and develop sales opportunities within the renewable energy sector
  • Prepare quotations and proposals for measurement and monitoring systems
  • Support the external sales team in developing new business and maintaining key accounts
  • Build strong relationships with customers including developers, consultants, and research organisations
  • Provide product and application guidance based on customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and track sales opportunities
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet customer specifications

About You

  • Experience in an internal sales, technical sales, or customer-facing commercial role
  • Interest in renewable energy technologies such as wind and solar
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to understand technical products and translate customer requirements into solutions
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Experience with CRM systems and quotation processes is advantageous
  • A technical or engineering background would be beneficial but is not essential
