IT Business Development Manager

Express Recruitment are currently supporting a well-established MSP firm based in Northwest Leicestershire, who due to ongoing growth, are seeking an IT Business Development Manager to join their busy team.

The successful candidate will have experience within IT sales, and take responsibility for generating business with both new and existing clients, effectively building relationships and providing consultative support to ensure high retention and net revenue growth. Our client is looking for a candidate with high energy and a passion for sales!

In return, you can expect to receive a starting salary of up to c £30,000 (negotiable) with an uncapped commission structure with expected earnings of up to c £70,000 per annum in their first years, plus other employee perks.

• Experience in a similar role in an IT MSP environment, selling hardware/technical/telecom support
• Rounded software and hardware knowledge including, but not limited to cloud systems, Microsoft Office 365 and network technologies
• Target orientated with the ability to tailor technical solutions for specific client requirements
• Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner, able to develop positive rapport and relations with stakeholders
• Full UK driving licence essential
• Manage and build relationships with a portfolio of clients, developing a deep understating of client’s business models in order to tailor solutions
• Develop own new sales pipeline through generating leads, cold calling, and networking
• Occasionally travel to face-to-face meetings, including client offices, events and conferences
• Provide clients and prospects with detailed proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations
• Handle own internal administration, including updating the CRM, providing monthly reports and sales pipeline forecasting
