Business Development Manager Property Kent We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join an established property-focused organisation covering the Kent market. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven property professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying new opportunities and developing long-term business partnerships. The role will focus on growing the business through new client acquisition, strategic relationship management and identifying opportunities across the local property market.

The Role As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing relationships across the property sector. Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying and developing new business opportunities across the local property market Building relationships with property professionals, investors, landlords and other relevant stakeholders Generating new leads through networking, referrals, market activity and proactive outreach Managing the business development pipeline from initial contact through to conversion Arranging and attending meetings with prospective and existing clients Understanding client requirements and identifying suitable services and solutions Developing long-term commercial relationships and referral partnerships Working closely with internal teams to convert opportunities into new business Monitoring market trends and identifying areas for growth Maintaining accurate records of prospects, opportunities and activity Preparing business development reports and forecasts Working towards agreed revenue, instruction and growth targets Representing the organisation professionally at industry events and networking opportunities Supporting wider commercial and marketing initiatives where required About You We're looking for a confident and commercially focused Business Development Manager with experience within property or a closely related sector.

You should have:
Proven experience in business development, sales or relationship management Previous experience within the property sector would be highly desirable Strong knowledge of the Kent property market or established professional contacts across the region A proven track record of winning new business Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills Confidence building relationships at all levels A proactive and self-motivated approach Strong commercial awareness Excellent organisation and pipeline management skills The ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams A target-driven mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results A full UK driving licence, as regular travel across the region may be required

The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will be a relationship-led business developer who understands the property market and knows how to turn conversations and professional relationships into genuine commercial opportunities. You'll be comfortable opening doors, developing referral networks, attending meetings and maintaining relationships over the long term. This role would suit someone from a property, estate agency, lettings, property services, legal or related professional services background who has a proven ability to generate and convert new business.
