Athletics Throws Coach

Role Overview

We are looking for a forward‑thinking Throws coach to join our Performance Athletics team at Loughborough University. With oversight from the Head of Throws you will develop coaching programmes for our University athletes and plan a Talent  across the David Ross Education Trust (DRET) schools and Charnwood College. You will contribute to our athletes competing in BUCS through individual coaching plans and input into our Throws recruitment and overall strategy.

• Develop and implement coaching programmes for university athletes.
• Plan and lead a Talent  across DRET schools and Charnwood College.
• Provide one‑to‑one individual coaching plans for athletes competing in BUCS.
• Contribute to overall Throws recruitment strategy.

• Level 2 athletics coaching qualification (or willing to achieve within 12 months).
• Subject to enhanced DBS disclosure.
• Experience in coaching athletics would be an advantage.
