Driver; Trailer Towing

Position: Driver (Trailer Towing)
Driver – Welfare Cabin Delivery & Collection

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Driver with towing experience to join a growing business specialising in the hire and delivery of welfare units. Based from Loughborough, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting towable welfare cabins across England and Wales.

This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for a confident driver with previous towing experience who enjoys being out on the road and working independently.

Candidate Requirements

Full UK Driving Licence with B+E entitlement (essential)
Previous towing experience is essential
Confidence towing large trailers or 24ft welfare units
Must hold a valid and current tachograph (tacho) card
Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
Good geographical knowledge and willingness to travel
Strong communication and customer service skills
Applicants must be 25 or over (due to insurance requirements)
Pay Rate

£14.00 per hour
Overtime paid at standard hourly rate
Hours

40 hours per week
Monday to Friday
8:00am – 4:30pm
Additional hours may be required depending on delivery routes and business needs
Driver Responsibilities

Deliver and collect towable welfare cabins from customer sites across the UK
Safely tow welfare units, which are similar in size to a 24ft welfare unit
Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure all journeys are completed safely and efficiently
Plan and manage routes to meet delivery and collection schedules
Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers on site
Travel throughout England and Wales, with routes varying daily
