Intrepid Global is recruiting experienced Class 1 (CE) HGV Drivers for an established logistics client based in Loughborough (LE12). We have two ongoing contract opportunities available, offering consistent weekday work, competitive pay, and immediate starts.

Whether you prefer a role with minimal manual handling or a more hands‑on delivery position, we have an opportunity to suit your experience.

As a Class 1 Driver, you’ll be responsible for delivering goods safely, efficiently and on time while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and compliance.

This role involves delivering a mixture of white goods and food products using curtain‑sided trailers to commercial and customer locations.

• Safely operate Class 1 (Category CE) articulated vehicles.
• Deliver white goods and food products across planned routes.
• Complete daily vehicle safety inspections.
• Ensure all loads are secured correctly before transport.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Provide a professional and courteous service at all delivery locations.
• Minimal manual handling, with assistance available at most sites.

This contract focuses on delivering large household appliances and is ideal for drivers who don't mind a more physically active role.

• Safely deliver white goods to customer locations.
• Operate Class 1 (Category CE) vehicles in accordance with DVSA regulations.
• Assist with loading and unloading where required.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and delivery documentation.
• Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the business professionally.

• A valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) driving licence.
• A valid Driver CPC qualification.
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours Rules and transport legislation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• A reliable, punctual and professional approach.
• Flexibility to work early morning start times between 4:00am and 7:00am.
• A good level of physical fitness, particularly for the white goods contract.
