Location: Loughton, Essex (Central Line)
Role: Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages Pay: £140 - £170 per day (Scale/Experience Dependent)
Contract: Full-Time / Supply / Long-term Start: Immediate / January 2026

We are recruiting for a forward-thinking secondary school in Loughton that is looking to strengthen its MFL department. The school is known for its modern facilities and a strong focus on staff wellbeing. They are seeking a teacher who can contribute to a culture of high aspiration and helps students develop confidence in speaking and writing foreign languages.

You will be teaching French and Spanish to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The department is collaborative, with shared resources and schemes of work in place, allowing you to focus on high-quality delivery in the classroom.

• Delivering well-paced, engaging lessons in French and Spanish.
• Preparing students for GCSE assessments (AQA/Edexcel experience preferred).
• Using target language effectively to immerse students in learning.
• Supporting students of all abilities, from those requiring extra help to high achievers.

• Qualifications: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or PGCE in MFL.
• Experience: Proven experience teaching French and Spanish in a UK secondary school setting.
• Personality: Enthusiastic, patient, and able to build strong rapport with students.
• Compliance: Clear DBS on the Update Service and valid right to work in the UK.
