SEND Teaching Assistant, Autism Support

Provide meaningful, consistent 1:1 support to a Reception pupil with Autism, helping to build communication, confidence and independence from the very start of their school journey. This role offers hands‑on SEND experience within a structured EYFS environment.

• Deliver 1:1 support aligned to EHCP targets
• Implement visual timetables and structured routines
• Support emotional regulation and transitions
• Liaise closely with SENCo and class teacher

• Experience supporting pupils with ASD
• Calm, patient and consistent approach
• Understanding of Early Years development
• Strong communication skills

• Full time
• ASAP or Easter start
• Term time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
