An opportunity has arisen in our successful school for a Assistant Headteacher, following the promotion of the current post holder. Our school is proud of our Good SIAMS inspection (July 2024) and our Good OFSTED inspection (July 2023) and we are always striving to improve. The Role- Contribute strategically to the ongoing development of our school vision and priorities
- Monitor impact and secure continuous improvement
- Maintain a regular teaching commitment, modelling high-quality classroom practice and remaining closely connected to pupils' learning and progress
While this is not a full‑time class teaching post, the successful candidate will teach regularly as part of the role and lead by example in securing strong outcomes for all pupils.
St Andrew's CE Primary School is situated in the village of North Weald, close to Epping. There are currently 348 pupils, age 4 - 11 years on roll plus a pre‑school with 16 places for 3 to 4 year olds. The majority of our pupils live in the village of North Weald. Class teachers are supported by a very experienced team of Learning Support Assistants, and HLTAs who also take on additional responsibilities within the school.
We have an experienced SEND team who provide invaluable support for our children. At St Andrews we are very proud of our inclusive, Christian ethos. We Believe in Friendship, Inspire Courage and Achieve Confidence.
