Behaviour Mentor - Primary School (Loughton) | September Start | Full-Time
Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child's life?
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming primary school in Loughton
. This is a full-time, immediate start role supporting a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing both academic and emotional support throughout the school day.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
- Work 1:1 with a pupil with SEN, supporting their learning and development
- Help manage and positively influence behaviour in and out of the classroom
- Build a strong, trusting relationship to support emotional regulation
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies
- Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive individual
- Experience working with children or young people (school-based or similar preferred)
- Strong behaviour management skills or a willingness to learn
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Graduates or aspiring teachers/psychologists are highly encouraged to apply
- £90 - £115 per day (depending on experience)
- Fortnightly pay - reliable and consistent
