We are seeking a PE Teacher to cover for our current Head of PE at a faith school in Loughton. This temporary position involves covering PE lessons up to Year 11, starting immediately. The role is ideal for someone who can manage the responsibilities of a PE Teacher while our Head of PE is unavailable.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging PE lessons to students up to Year 11, ensuring a high standard of learning and student engagement.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of different students.
• Ensure all lessons are planned with clear aims and objectives.
• Maintain the standards and ethos of the school while the Head of PE is absent.
• Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the physical education curriculum.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching PE to secondary school students.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater for different learning needs.
