Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced and commercially driven Retail Manager to lead a successful automotive retail operation in Chigwell. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving sales performance, managing the showroom team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed targets

* Drive new and used vehicle sales performance and profitability

* Oversee day-to-day showroom operations

* Ensure exceptional customer experience and high CSI scores

* Monitor KPIs including volume, margin, finance, and add-on products

* Coach, train, and performance-manage the sales team

* Ensure FCA compliance and adherence to company processes

* Work closely with senior management to deliver business objectives

Skills & Experience Required

* Proven experience as a Retail Manager or Sales Manager within automotive retail

* Strong leadership and people-management skills

* Results-driven with strong commercial awareness

* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills

* Sound knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance

* Full UK driving licence
