Retail Manager

Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced and commercially driven Retail Manager to lead a successful automotive retail operation in Chigwell. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving sales performance, managing the showroom team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 OTE

Contract:

Full-time, Permanent

• Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
• Drive new and used vehicle sales performance and profitability
• Oversee day-to-day showroom operations
• Ensure exceptional customer experience and high CSI scores
• Monitor KPIs including volume, margin, finance, and add-on products
• Coach, train, and performance-manage the sales team
• Ensure FCA compliance and adherence to company processes
• Work closely with senior management to deliver business objectives

• Proven experience as a Retail Manager or Sales Manager within automotive retail
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• Results-driven with strong commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Sound knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance
• Full UK driving licence
