Location: Waltham Abbey
Join Our Production Team at Dannells Ltd. Dannells Ltd is an established UK manufacturer and supplier of materials and components used in lampshade production. We are looking for a reliable, practical and enthusiastic person to join our production team at our Waltham Abbey factory. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with production or manufacturing experience who enjoys practical work and wants to develop new skills.
What Will You Be Doing? You will work as part of our production team, helping to manufacture and convert materials used in the lampshade industry. Your responsibilities will include:
Operating various production machines and equipment. Cutting, reeling, winding and converting materials, including textiles, plastics and cardboard. Setting up and adjusting machines to meet production requirements. Checking finished products to ensure they meet our quality standards. Preparing materials and equipment for production. Identifying and reporting equipment or quality issues. Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment. Learning to operate different machines to support the wider production team.
Full training will be provided on our specialist machinery. We are particularly interested in someone who:
Is practical and enjoys working with machinery. Has experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing or a similar environment. Is reliable, punctual and willing to learn. Has good attention to detail. Can follow instructions and work safely. Is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Has PC knowledge, numeracy & good communication skills. Is comfortable with the manual handling involved in production work, with appropriate adjustments where required.
You don't need experience with our particular machinery. We're looking for the right attitude, practical ability and willingness to learn. Permanent, full-time employment. Competitive starting salary of £26,478.40. Monthly bonus. Annual bonus. Training on a variety of production machinery. Monday-to-Friday working. Company pension scheme. Free on-site parking.
