Veterinary Surgeon - Buckhurst Hill

We’re looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly and established small animal clinic in Buckhurst Hill, East London. This is a full-time GP Vet role, offering an interesting and varied caseload, a genuinely supportive team, and excellent development opportunities.

The practice has been caring for pets in the local community for decades and is known for delivering high‑quality, compassionate veterinary care. You’ll be joining a welcoming, close‑knit team where wellbeing, collaboration, and professional growth are truly valued.

• Full‑time position, average 41.5 hours per week
• 2 in 6 Saturdays
• 1 night per week on call for inpatients only (very rare)
• OOH emergencies covered externally
• Inpatients cared for on‑site by a skilled nursing team
• Opportunity to also work at a nearby sister clinic with part‑time flexibility if preferred

• Confidence with routine consultations and surgery
• Comfortable working in a sole‑charge environment, with excellent nursing and CCA support
• A team player who enjoys building relationships with clients and colleagues

• Supportive leadership with a strong focus on team culture and wellbeing
• Open and encouraged discussions around career progression and further qualifications
• Interests in surgery or medicine are welcomed and actively supported
• Loyal, established client base with a varied GP caseload
• Outstanding, proactive nursing team who love what they do
• Fantastic location – just a short walk from the Central Line, with Central London only 25 minutes away

• Salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
• 5 weeks holiday + bank holidays + Birthday Leave
