LUMCON is hiring a United States Coast Guard licensed National Qualified Member of the Engine Department (QMED) to serve aboard the Research Vessel POINT SUR. The position is domiciled at the Port of Gulfport, MS and reports to the ship’s Captain under the Chief Engineer.
The ideal candidate will hold a USCG QMED license, STCW
95 compliance, and be prepared for extended sea periods, maintenance, and fieldwork sampling related to marine science projects.
