Description

The Vice President of Technology & Innovation is responsible for defining ITC's technology direction and ensuring the company remains ahead of changes in technology, platforms, automation, and AI as ITC scales toward $100M and beyond.

This is not a day-to-day delivery or escalation role. The VP of Technology & Innovation is responsible for determining where ITC is going technologically and building the capabilities required to get there.

Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Strategy & Roadmap
  • Develop and own ITC's company-wide technology strategy and multi-year technology roadmap.
  • Translate company growth objectives into technology priorities, investments, and capabilities.
  • Identify technologies ITC should adopt, standardize, consolidate, or retire.
  • Maintain visibility into major technology trends and their potential impact on ITC and its clients.
  • Establish clear annual and quarterly technology priorities with measurable outcomes.
  • Advise the COO and executive leadership on technology opportunities, risks, investments, and strategic decisions.
2. Technology Standards & Architecture
  • Establish ITC's technical architecture and approved technology direction across core technology disciplines.
  • Partner with Proactive Services to translate architecture and technical direction into measurable client standards and controls.
  • Establish reference architectures, approved technology stacks, platform requirements, and lifecycle strategies.
  • Coordinate designated SMEs and technical experts across the organization to establish technical direction.
  • Establish governance for architecture decisions, technology exceptions, and new technology adoption.
  • Ensure lessons learned from systemic technical issues result in improved architecture, standards, documentation, or automation.
  • Ensure ITC's technical strategy remains scalable, supportable, secure, and commercially viable.
3. AI, Automation & Innovation
  • Own ITC's enterprise AI, automation, and innovation strategy.
  • Lead the AI and Automation team and establish a prioritized company-wide roadmap.
  • Identify opportunities across Operations, Client Success, Revenue, Finance, and other departments where AI and automation can materially improve performance.
  • Establish measurable business cases and ROI expectations for significant initiatives.
  • Drive automation of repetitive processes, technical controls, reporting, integrations, and workflows.
  • Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and determine where ITC should invest, experiment, scale, or avoid.
  • Create a disciplined process for moving ideas from concept to pilot to measurable result to standardization and scale.
  • Ensure innovation efforts remain focused on measurable business outcomes rather than technology for technology's sake.
4. Technology Platforms & Product Evolution
  • Own the strategic technology roadmap for major technology platforms assigned to the Technology organization.
  • Ensure platform capabilities, architecture, integrations, reliability, scalability, and lifecycle align with ITC's long-term strategy.
  • Evaluate new capabilities, vendors, integrations, and technologies that can improve or differentiate ITC's service offerings.
  • Partner with Revenue, Client Success, and Operations to translate technology capabilities into scalable client offerings.
  • Ensure platform strategy and innovation remain connected to client demand, competitive positioning, and financial performance.
  • Maintain clear separation between platform ownership and expertise within Technology and implementation/service delivery within Operations.
5. Technology Enablement & Organizational Partnership
  • Provide Operations with the architecture, standards, tooling, automation, and technical enablement required to execute consistently.
  • Partner with the Director of Proactive Services to establish the technical foundation supporting client technology-health standards and controls.
  • Provide Client Success and vCIOs with technical direction, lifecycle requirements, and architecture needed to develop effective client technology roadmaps.
  • Partner with Cybersecurity to ensure technology architecture and innovation align with security requirements.
  • Develop technical enablement, documentation, and knowledge-transfer processes that increase the capabilities of ITC's delivery teams.
  • Establish a clear process for systemic, architectural, and platform-level technical escalations…
