Seasonal Business Tax Associate
Intuit is looking for an experienced seasonal Business Tax Associate to join our Turbo Tax Live Business team. You will provide expert guidance and tax preparation services to customers while contributing to our goal of Powering Prosperity Around the World.

What You Will DoYou will help customers complete their taxes using Intuit Turbo Tax products, using sound professional judgment and delivering service in a timely manner.
- Maintain sensitive customer and proprietary business information responsibly.
- Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver the right answer in everyday language.
- Operate in a virtual, customer‑facing role using our video communications software.
- Provide tax advice, full service business return preparation and signature, product/software inquiries, tax calculations, and filing tax extensions.
- Create high‑quality customer interactions that instill confidence using deep customer empathy and extensive knowledge of business tax preparation.
- Apply defined practices, procedures, and company policies to troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries and tax return preparation.
- Document customer interactions and work continuously toward key performance metrics and Big Bet Goals.
- Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations as needed.
- Strong business tax preparation experience with at least 3 years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (e.g., 1065 and/or 1120‑S) for a minimum of 20 clients per season using commercial tax preparation software.
- Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 tax returns per year in a tax practice or retail setting.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
- Bookkeeping experience with books‑to‑tax preparation strongly preferred.
- Experience preparing business tax returns for service‑industry customers preferred.
- State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds as required; an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Working knowledge of Circular 230.
- Proficiency with technology and solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
- Strong customer service skills, including professional, friendly, and confident video and audio interactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking, problem‑solving, research skills, and determination.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Reliable internet connection meeting Intuit Security criteria.
- Eligibility to reside in the United States.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package that includes a strong pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this seasonal position varies by location:
- Bay Area, California: $31.10 – $35.50
- Southern California: $31.10 – $35.50
- Colorado: $29.60 – $34.10
- Hawaii: $31.10 – $35.50
- Illinois: $29.60 – $34.10
- Maryland: $29.60 – $34.10
- Massachusetts: $31.10 – $35.50
- Minnesota: $26.60 – $33.80
- New Jersey: $31.10 – $35.50
- New York: $31.10 – $35.50
- Ohio: $26.60 – $33.80
- Vermont: $29.60 – $34.10
- Washington: $31.10 – $35.50
- Washington DC: $29.60 – $34.10
