The Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System seeks an ERP Senior Business Analyst to join their team.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Anlyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing requirements, such as the Navy's Human resources system.
- Coordinates with customer, business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls.
- Serves as the Senior Functional Analyst defining business intelligence requirements for Analytical application and reporting.
- Must possess experience in documenting functional, business intelligence analytics, and reporting requirements.
- Responsible for decomposing high level functional requirements and writing system and technical requirements for development and testing.
- As a member of the team, must be able to work well with co-workers, developers, testers, and customers.
- Translates customer needs into system, hardware, software, performance, network, and interface requirements.
- Performs requirements analysis for hardware and software through customer interviews, comparison to existing requirements, creation of process flows, use cases, and other artifacts.
- Interfaces with system developers and testers to clarify requirements and validate that they are designing, developing, and testing to the customer's requirements.
- Is familiar with US Navy's personnel and pay systems for both active and reserve officers and enlisted personnel.
- BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- 10+ years of strong People Soft HCM, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Business Objects, People Soft.
- Experience in documenting functional, business intelligence analytics, and reporting requirements.
- Experienced as a Business Case Analyst responsible for decomposing requirements and writing requirements for coding and testing.
- Working Knowledge and experience with People Soft HCM and business intelligence reporting software.
- Must hold a Secret Clearance

Salary Range: The likely salary range for this position is $96,050 - $129,950. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
