Project Superintendent

The Project Superintendent is a full-time, on-site role based in New Orleans, LA, responsible for overseeing daily construction activities on commercial flooring and surface projects. This role coordinates crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. The Project Superintendent manages site logistics, conducts regular inspections, enforces safety protocols, and addresses issues that arise in the field.

This role also collaborates with project managers and clients on planning, progress updates, and change orders, while monitoring budgets, documenting project milestones, and maintaining accurate records. The position requires consistent on-site presence, clear communication with stakeholders, and hands‑on leadership to deliver successful projects from start to finish.

• Candidates should possess quality control skills, including the ability to read plans, interpret specifications, and ensure adherence to project standards.
• Candidates should possess construction safety knowledge, including OSHA awareness, site safety enforcement, and incident prevention practices.
• Candidates should possess budgeting and cost control skills, including tracking project expenses, supporting change order management, and aligning work with financial targets.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include experience with resinous and specialty flooring systems, familiarity with local building codes, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in basic project documentation and construction software.
• Ability to work on-site in New Orleans, LA, maintain a valid driver’s license, and visit active job sites as needed
