Production A/V Technician
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Production Technician for ASM Global / Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Setup, operate, breakdown, inventory, and maintain broadcast, audio, lighting, and video equipment for over 200 events per year
- Support New Orleans Saints and Pelicans game day broadcast, concerts and special event A/V requirements
- Assume assigned production role and responsibilities as required
- Understand and respond to client needs
- Communicate in a friendly, respectful, and understandable manner
- Demonstrate communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Operate equipment to ensure successful event production
- Provide technical support throughout events as assigned
- Work on special projects
- Perform all other duties as assigned
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical degree or certification preferred
- Five (5) years of experience in a related field
- Experience in broadcast production and A/V equipment for assigned responsibilities
- Must have a working knowledge of broadcast production, audio, video, lighting, and general A/V equipment
Regularly required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; to work inside or outside the building as needed. Able to operate machines such as scissor lifts and bucket lifts; must be able to lift and push a minimum of 50 pounds and spend long periods on your feet.
