As we collaborate with DC Studios/Warner Bros Pictures Animation and Matt Reeves’ 6th and Idaho on a revolutionary new project, you’ll help bring bold creative visions to life through hands‑on artistry and performance. Job Summary

The Art Production Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and production support to the Production Department. This position requires clear communication, strong organizational skills, and consistent follow-through to keep pace with the fast‑moving demands of production. The Production Assistant will work closely with team members and management to facilitate smooth operations and ensure that all aspects of puppet fabrication and production are effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Support: Respond to the needs of the Production Department and assist crew requests as directed by production management
  • Interdepartmental Communication: Maintain clear communication with internal departments to facilitate collaboration and resource sharing
  • Coordination Support: Aid Production Coordinators by recording, tracking, and distributing notes, schedules, and any necessary information related to production
  • Database Management: Input relevant information and etdir coi to keep project details organized and up‑to‑date
  • Dailies and Reviews: Help create dailies playlists and operate the screening room projector/playback system for reviews as needed by the coordinators
  • Crew Management: Maintain crew lists for the Production Department, assist with onboarding needs, and facilitate facilities requests
  • Resource Allocation: Assist in managing inventory and resources, including materials and tools, to effectively support the various teams involved in the production process
  • Timecard Follow‑Up: Follow up with crew members to ensure timely completion of timecards prior to department head sign‑off, confirm attendanceilige, and ensure adherence to schedule time frames
  • Errand Running: Execute errands, including procurement of working meals and production supplies, and assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
    Vehicle and driver’s license required
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work extended hours as needed to meet production demands
Qualifications
  • Basic Computer

    Skills:

    Proficient in Google Workspace and basic familiarity with Photoshop; knowledge of database software preferred
  • Problem‑Solving

    Skills:

    Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
  • Communication

    Skills:

    Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Attention to Detail: Exhibits a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
