Directing Web Series

We are seeking a talented Director to lead our independent web series project. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about storytelling and bringing compelling narratives to life. Our upcoming project is a supernatural drama set against the unique backdrop of New Orleans, exploring themes of hidden histories and personal redemption with a grounded, atmospheric tone. Think character-driven mystery with a touch of the uncanny.

Key responsibilities include collaborating closely with the writer/producer, leading pre-production meetings, guiding cast performances, blocking scenes, and overseeing the visual execution of our creative vision on set. You'll be instrumental in translating the script into engaging on-screen content. We're open to all experience levels, from emerging talent to seasoned professionals. A strong directorial reel demonstrating your storytelling abilities, visual style, and ability to evoke specific tones is essential.

While we don't require specific gear, a strong understanding of current camera and lighting technologies is beneficial. This is a partnership opportunity, with compensation structured as a revenue share from distribution. Anticipated shoot dates will primarily be in late October 2026, over approximately 5-7 days spread across two weekends, with some additional prep days beforehand. We're looking for someone available for focused, intense work during that period.

Production will provide craft services, transportation to and from specific locations within New Orleans, and all necessary production insurance.
