Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – New Orleans, School of Dentistry is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach in the Department of Comprehensive Dentistry, Program in Dental Hygiene. The position includes laboratory, pre-clinical, clinical, and didactic instruction to dental hygiene students and students in other disciplines within the LSU Health Sciences Center. Candidates will be responsible for advising assigned students, participating in school activities and committees, and may be required to travel to rotation sites.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred)
- Louisiana dental hygiene license
- Louisiana local anesthesia certification
- Possession of or eligibility for nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia certification
- CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing as a dental hygienist for a minimum of 3 days per week
