We are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect with 7–10 years of professional experience to lead the design, documentation, and delivery of diverse architectural projects. This full‑time, in‑person position requires a technically strong, self‑directed architect capable of managing all project phases—from early programming and conceptual design through construction administration and closeout.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Studio Director, Senior Technical Director, Project Managers and Executive Team to uphold NANO’s design standards and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead conceptualization & design development, ensuring projects align with NANO’s mission, vision and values.
- Prepare and coordinate construction documentation, ensuring code compliance, consultant coordination, quality assurance, and QA/QC.
- Assist Project Managers with schedule, budget, staffing and review of subconsultant and client invoices.
- Conduct site visits, review submittals, RFIs and substitution requests; attend client and consultant meetings.
- Mentor junior staff and participate in performance reviews.
- Provide technical guidance and develop innovative design solutions across all phases.
- 7–10 years architectural experience, including at least 5 years as a Project Architect/Project Manager.
- Accredited professional architectural degree and licensed/registered architect.
- Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite and experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, Rhino, Energy Modeling and MS Office.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and organizational abilities.
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards and construction practices.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team and to delegate responsibilities.
- Develop clever solutions to complex problems.
