Adult Psychiatrist (Forensic), Assistant Professor Rank, Clinical Track - Full Time

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty position on the clinical track, assistant professor rank, to serve as a Forensic Psychiatrist any forensic facilities serviced by the Department. This position will be responsible for providing forensic psychiatric care and treatment.

• Supervision of residents, forensic fellows, and medical students.
• Participation in fellow, resident, and medical student education activities in the department.
• Contributing to the educational program by participating and presenting at psychiatry grand rounds, continuing education conferences, and psychiatry didactic series in medical student education.
• Participation in the annual fellow interview process and subsequent ranking of applicants, providing both verbal and written assessments.
• Mentoring residents and students and stimulating them to participate in mentored research projects and other scholarly activities.
