Ochsner Health invites physicians BC/BE in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine to join our expanding division of eight neonatologists in New Orleans, LA. Recent graduates and experienced neonatologists with training or experience in a level IV NICU are encouraged to consider joining our team. We are the only hospital in Louisiana to provide both Level IV neonatal and obstetric care at the same facility, Ochsner Baptist Hospital.

• Ochsner Baptist Hospital features a state-of-the-art 67-bed Level IV NICU with private rooms for singleton and multiple pregnancies.
• The fetal echo team is located at Ochsner Baptist Hospital and coordinates care for babies with complex congenital heart diseases.

• Network of more than 85 primary care pediatricians and 290+ subspecialists across 27 locations in Louisiana and Mississippi.
• Advanced programs in congenital heart surgery and transplantation, liver and bone marrow transplantation, Hematology-Oncology and AYA Oncology, and advanced GI and hepatology.
• Comprehensive surgical subspecialties including craniofacial and advanced spine surgery.
• The Gulf South’s only comprehensive developmental pediatrics center.

• 67-bed Level IV NICU
• 14-bed PICU and 12-bed CVICU
• 4-bed NAEC-accredited Level IV Pediatric Emergency Medicine Unit
• 44-bed Pediatric Acute Care Unit with dedicated Pediatric ED
• 24/7 neonatal and pediatric transport team with ground, rotary, and fixed-wing aircraft support
• Future growth: new 5-story Children’s Hospital opening late 2027/early 2028; planned expansion of neonatal services
