As a Psychiatrist, you'll serve as a clinical leader, helping patients achieve stability while guiding the behavioral health program within a secure and structured environment.
Position Summary- Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and medication management for patients with behavioral health needs
- Lead and support the facility's psychiatric and behavioral health programs to ensure quality, patient-centered care
- Monitor the appropriate utilization of psychotropic medications and oversee clinical treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with medical, nursing, behavioral health, and correctional staff to coordinate care and support patient stability
- Provide clinical guidance, training, and support to behavioral health staff and institutional personnel
- Assist with program development, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance with correctional healthcare standards
- Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation, evaluations, and required reports

- Current, unrestricted state medical license in state of practice
- Board Certification - American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology required.
- Active applicable Controlled Substance Registration/License/Certification in state of practice.
- Current DEA registration
- Current CPR certification
