This on-site facility provides obstetric and gynecologic services across clinic and OR settings to an adult patient population. The facility is supported by CNMs and in-house anesthesia to facilitate coordinated care delivery across all assigned coverage periods. Clinical operations are conducted in accordance with day shift, 24-hour shift, and call coverage requirements.

Lafayette is a destination rooted in Cajun and Acadian heritage, offering clinicians on assignment access to outdoor swamp tours at Lake Martin and living history sites such as Acadian Village and Vermilionville. The area features a food culture centered on local staples, alongside breweries, farmers markets, art galleries, and nature preserves. Parks such as Girard Park and Acadiana Park provide space for outdoor recreation, and a range of guided cultural, historical, and culinary tours are available throughout the region.

Clinicians will provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage across clinic and OR settings on a day shift and 24-hour shift basis with call responsibilities at an on-site facility, with coverage beginning ASAP. Clinical responsibilities encompass OB and GYN care, including deliveries, C-sections, and basic clinic procedures, with an expected patient volume of 25-30 patients per day and an average of 9 deliveries per week.

All clinical documentation must be completed using the EPIC EMR system. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, structured at a 1:4 call ratio, with in-house anesthesia and CNM support available throughout each designated coverage period.

Case Load/PPD: 25-30 patients per day in clinic (OB and GYN); approximately 9 deliveries per week
