Tenured Research Assistant Professor of Pulmonary Diseases
Join us at Tulane University School of Medicine as a Tenured Research Assistant Professor of Pulmonary Diseases. This position is a tenured assistant professor research faculty role in the AAU – Medicine–Pulmonary Diseases department.
Duties:
- Develop and sustain a highly competitive NIH‑funded research group focused on excellence in basic and translational research.
- Participate in submission of large grant proposals and maintain research productivity.
- Lead and mentor research staff and graduate students.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., pulmonary biology, immunology, physiology).
- Demonstrated track record of obtaining NIH grants.
- Strong publication record in peer‑reviewed journals.
- Ability to build interdisciplinary collaborations.
Employment type:
Full‑time, full tenure track.
