This purpose of this position is to carry out daily operations & maintenance tasks associated with pipeline, compressor station compliance and maintenance of Texas Gas at the Haughton, LA location as well as Sharon, LA as necessary. This position will be responsible for environmental, health & safety and reliability for natural gas transmission through the pipeline system. Some specific duties will consist of compressor maintenance, reading rectifiers, valve inspection and maintenance, tank gauging, pipeline locating, pipeline patrolling, one‑calls, preventive pipeline maintenance, valve site and right of way maintenance.

Technician will be assisting with construction and repairs of pipelines and associated facilities if needed. Successful candidate will be required to maintain residence within 30 miles of the Texas Gas Haughton, LA compressor station.

• 5 years’ experience in natural gas industry
• Technical degree instrumentation/electrical

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Technical College or Trade School
