As a Sr. Reliability Engineer at Solstice Advanced Materials
, you will lead initiatives to enhance the reliability, availability, and maintainability of chemical plant equipment. This includes developing and implementing strategies for maintenance, analyzing equipment failures, and driving continuous improvement through data‑driven insights and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. You will report directly to our Reliability Manager and work out of our Geismar, LA location on a 9/80 work schedule.

• Define, track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Lifecycle Cost.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive reliability improvements and incorporate reliability in all phases of the equipment lifecycle.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to address underlying causes of equipment failures.
• Ensure all reliability activities comply with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements and promote a culture of reliability and safety excellence.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in reliability engineering in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with fixed equipment, knowledge of NDE techniques, and ASME/API codes.
• Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) facilities.

• Familiarity or certification in national standards such as API 510, 570, 580, 653.
• Professional Reliability Certification – CRE, SMRP.
• Excellent project management skills to oversee complex reliability initiatives.
• Passion for continuous learning and professional development, staying at the forefront of industry advancements.
• Ability to work collaboratively and foster a culture of teamwork and innovation.

The annual base salary range for this position is $121k - $153k. Salary decisions consider scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, market and business factors.
