Title: Chemical Engineering Co-op (August - December 2026)

Salary: $30.00 / hour

Focus: The Chemical Engineering Co-op supports maintenance and production to develop and implement new or improved chemical manufacturing processes. This role can serve as the engineering representative on small capital projects including justification, obtaining approval, ordering, and installation processes and equipment.
Essential Job Functions- Lead a minimum of three hands‑on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need.
- Assist Operations team optimizing daily operations and process performance to run a low‑cost, on‑specification, reliable, productive operation.
- Assist with resolving plant issues, driving improvements, and sharing knowledge to strengthen the performance of the team.
- Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate Chemical Engineering degree program. Preference given to students located within 50 miles of the assigned Olin location.
- Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time official transcript will be required each term.
- Must have completed sophomore year prior to first rotation with Olin.
- Ability to work full time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) August - December 2026. Not eligible for virtual work.
- Preference will be given to candidates with availability and desire to work a minimum of three (3) terms with no more than one of those terms occurring over the summer.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work/student visa.
- Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).
- A valid U.S. Driver's license is required.
