Belcan is seeking an expert level Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and process improvement efforts within a complex aerospace and defense manufacturing environment. This hands‑on role will drive performance improvement initiatives across production, supplier quality, and cost‑of‑poor‑quality (COPQ) metrics using lean and data‑driven methodologies. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth, quality engineering experience, and the leadership skills to guide cross‑functional teams toward sustainable improvement.

• Lead root cause investigations for production and quality issues using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone (Ishikawa), Pareto, etc.
• Drive corrective action planning and implementation, working across engineering, production, and quality teams
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality escapes, reduce turnbacks, and improve delivery performance
• Monitor and analyze COPQ data, scrap/rework trends, and audit results to identify and prioritize high‑impact issues
• Support and lead continuous improvement projects aligned with lean, Six Sigma, and cost‑reduction goals
• Document and track corrective action effectiveness over time to ensure sustained results

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
• 10 or more years of experience in aerospace & defense quality & manufacturing environments
• Strong background in manufacturing quality, non‑conformance management, and process improvement
• Demonstrated success leading RCCA initiatives with measurable impact
• Skilled in lean tools and industrial engineering methodologies
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required

• Familiarity with OEM‑level aerospace production processes
• Industry certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or Industrial Engineering
• Experience working with or coordinating across supplier quality functions
