Position SummaryThe Relationship Banker delivers outstanding customer service while performing teller and personal banker duties. The role builds and maintains relationships with customers, identifies their financial needs, and recommends appropriate products and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
- Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Open new deposit accounts and assist with account maintenance.
- Educate customers on digital banking tools and services.
- Support FGB-sponsored “Financial Foundations” initiatives to promote financial education.
- Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate banking solutions.
- Maintain compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Support branch sales goals through proactive customer engagement.
- Assist with branch operations and administrative tasks as needed.
- Adhere to BSA/AML policy and all other bank policies.
- Perform additional duties assigned by supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
- 1 year of customer service experience.
- 6 months of cash handling experience.
- Previous banking experience strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking systems.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
