The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee all financial management, reporting, and strategic planning for this $500MM+ community bank and its holding company. This role begins as a department of one, with the IT function transitioning under the CFO once established. Key responsibilities include asset/liability management, investment oversight, budgeting, general ledger management, depreciation schedules, staff balancing, and preparation of all regulatory filings, including quarterly Call Reports and holding company reports.
The CFO will also manage the holding company’s income tax return and consolidated reporting. A CPA is not required, but extensive banking accounting experience is essential; a bachelor’s degree is required and a master’s in accounting is preferred. The ideal candidate brings strong ALM experience, hands‑on knowledge of bank financial operations, and the ability to support the bank’s long‑term strategic direction.
