Crown Clerk 9/10, salary from $129,464 – $142,665 p.a. (plus Super and annual leave loading)

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and undertake the development and evaluation of policies, projects and programmes for the Ministry of Health and related agencies to address current and emerging policy issues, including supporting the implementation of the Closing the Gap Outcomes 2 – children are born healthy and strong and Outcome 4 – children thrive in their early years.
  • Work closely with health service providers, other government agencies and key stakeholders, with the support of the Principal Policy Officer.
About you
  • This is an Identified role under the Section 14d of the Anti‑Discrimination Act 1977 and, as such, Aboriginality is an essential requirement of the role.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated professional experience in one or more of the following areas: maternity, child and family health, paediatrics, youth health.
  • Substantial experience in developing, analysing and evaluating complex policy, projects and programmes in a multi‑disciplinary or multi‑agency environment.
  • Experience in and/or understanding of Aboriginal maternal, child, youth and family health and the NSW Government Closing the Gap initiatives and priority reform areas.
