Position: AUTOMATED METERING INFRASTRUCTURE (AMI) DATA ANALYST II (CLASS CODE 3458)
Location: New Orleans

journeyman level technical and administrative work performing data analysis and generating and validating reports in support of automated metering operations for the sewerage and water board. Work includes conducting analysis through research, and interpretation of data from meter reading as well as designing and documenting ami reading system processes. Work also includes assisting in managing and maintaining relationships with vendors and support services for software and equipment maintenance and service requests;

and related work as required.

promotional:

two years experience in the class of automated metering infrastructure (ami) data analyst i.

or original entrance:
  • a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • three (3) years’ experience in metering technology solutions, information systems or a related field.
note:

domicile requirements are currently waived for the purpose of application**. Residency requirements are waived for all sewerage and water board of new orleans positions vacant and advertised for at least 90 days.
