advanced nursing work supervising the activities of public health nurses and other clinic support staff providing services in connection with general health, child health, and chronic and communicable disease control.
qualifications- graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing and license to practice nursing in the state of louisiana.
- four (4) years of professional experience in the field of public health nursing, or four (4) years of professional nursing experience that included public health nursing components such as evaluating health needs, teaching and counseling, developing the capabilities of individuals and families to cope with their health problems, and use of community resources. One (1) year of this experience must have included supervisory duties as a primary responsibility.

a rating of training and experience, weighted 100%. All related previous experience will be considered for qualification purposes; however, credit on the rating of training and experience will only be given for experience gained within the last ten (10) years.
