The Section of Endocrinology at the John W. Deming Department of Medicine, Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking talented and motivated applicants with training and experience in epidemiology, population health biostatistics, bioinformatics, or the equivalent to join the research lab led by Dr. Yilin Yoshida. Dr. Yoshida is an Assistant professor of Medicine research program is centered on sex/gender-based cardiometabolic epidemiology.
One of her major focuses is to investigate mechanisms underlying women’s excessive risk of vascular complications in diabetes and identify and test intervention targets to improve diabetes management in men and women.
This is a full-time position with a two-year service/training period with the possibility for yearly renewal dependent upon performance and continued funding. Candidates with research experience in cardiometabolic epidemiology are strongly preferred. The fellow’s time will be devoted to data analysis, manuscript preparation, grant application support, and career development.
QualificationsApplicants must have training and experience in epidemiology, population health biostatistics, bioinformatics, or the equivalent. Strong preference will be given to candidates with research experience in cardiometabolic epidemiology.
