- Days: 4-7 shifts consecutively M-F 7am-8pm, weekends 7am-8pm
- Nights: max 4 shifts consecutively M-F 5pm-8am, weekends 7pm-8am
- 12-14 patients per shift typical
- Pediatric cardiovascular ICU setting
- Advanced procedures: vent management, chest tubes, central lines
- Rounding, admissions 2-3 per shift, in-house call coverage
- May cover cardiology patients on pediatric acute floor
- PALS and BLS certification required
