Performs various functions to support the department, including processing reservations, managing the phones and following up on patient, family, and staff requests in a timely fashion.

Schedule (2) 12-hr shifts per week: 6:45AM- 7:15PM; rotating weekends Education Required - High School diploma or equivalent Work Experience Required - None Preferred - Experience in the healthcare industry Certifications Required - Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire at Community Hospitals, unless designated on Regulatory Grid. Skills and Abilities

(KSAs)
* Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
* Must be proficient with Windows-style applications, various software packages specific to role and keyboard.
* Thorough understanding of current medical terminology.
* Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.

Job Duties
* Provides clerical support for the department.
* Serves as Patient Experience Ambassador for the unit.
* Assesses EPIC chart reports to ensure proper unit charges.
