Front Door Valet
- Flex Schedule Must have Valid Drivers License Summary
The Front Door Valet is responsible for providing a positive first and lasting impression to guests when they arrive and leave the hotel.
Essential FunctionsTo perform the Front Door Valet position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Park guest vehicles in specified areas in a safe and efficient manner
- Retrieve customer vehicles from specified areas in a safe and efficient manner
- Provide travel directions and information on property events and promotions
- Fill out all parking tickets that include make of car, location of car, name of registered guest and mark the ticket for pre-existing damage
- Ensure all cars are parked and brought down completely safe
- Obey all traffic laws on and off property
- Promote the courteous treatment of customers when resolving guest service issues
- Provide timely and knowledgeable service and then some to each and every guest; always find solutions to guests’ problems
- Greet arriving and departing guests; open passenger door(s) and offer assistance, if appropriate
- Other duties as assigned

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required for an individual to successfully perform the duties and responsibility of Front Door Valet position:
- Strong customer service and leadership skills
- Ability to push, pull, lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to comply with all hotel’s policies and procedures
- Ability to speak clearly, write legibly, perform basic calculations and work well with other associates
- Ability to work evening shifts including weekends and holidays
- Willingness and ability to work outside in adverse weather conditions including hot, cold, rainy or other weather conditions
- A valid stated issued driver license and no driving violations within the last two (2) years
- Effectively communicate and interact with people from diverse backgrounds
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Write simple correspondence
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other associates of the hotel
