Position OverviewRecruiting – Full Time, Hourly Non‑Exempt. Reports to Recruiting Supervisor. Work schedule varies with up to 50% travel. This role may be based in a local hiring office or a food production plant and requires occasional travel for community networking.
What You Will Do- Maintain an organized hiring space and provide a welcoming first impression.
- Implement full‑lifecycle hiring: reviewing applications, sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
- Complete new‑hire paperwork, verify Form I‑9 and eligibility documentation.
- Apply and enforce all relevant policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct professional interviews and extend compliant offers.
- Educate new hires on company policies.
- Lead local compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Support plant leadership in staffing and HR compliance needs.
- Handle off‑boarding and cross‑boarding documentation.
- Prepare status updates for weekly meetings with HR Recruiting Supervisor and Operations Partners.
- Assist with distribution of company changes.
- Maintain reports for leadership.
- Build and maintain community partnerships for brand awareness and sourcing.
- Review hiring metrics and deploy best practices.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
- 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Minimum 1 year of hiring experience (Recruiter, Sourcer, HR, Hiring Manager, etc.).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Ability to travel with own transportation.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish & English).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self‑motivated, resourceful, and disciplined.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
This position may be based in a local hiring office or a food production plant with hot/cold, wet/dry environments requiring PPE. Some travel is required to support grassroots recruiting and community networking events.
