As we grow in the Louisiana market, we are looking for a dynamic professional who will oversee our growing team in Plaquemines Parish, LA, and support talent acquisition, compliance, employee relations, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have experience building teams in a high‑growth industrial environment and will help leaders move beyond traditional HR functions to deliver innovative staffing solutions and culture‑supporting policies.

• Serve as the HR point of contact for the Plaquemines facility.
• Coach and guide leadership and employees on employee relations matters, performance, and policies.
• Advise on matters related to compliance and employment law.
• Manage employee onboarding and off‑boarding.
• Administer HR and benefits to ensure new and current team members understand, have access to, and take advantage of our offerings.
• Support the creation of accessible HR policies and procedures that are compliant with federal and local laws and enhance VG’s culture.

• 10+ years of HR generalist experience, with a preference for industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proactive, organized, and detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Collaborative and service‑oriented, building strong relationships and responding to teammates’ unique needs.
• Growth‑oriented, continually seeking self‑improvement and welcoming feedback.
• Creative problem‑solver who balances global system needs with the diverse needs of the team.
• Excellent communication skills in writing and speaking, and adept at coaching others.
• Technology‑minded, familiar with modern ATS and HRIS products; experience with Greenhouse or ADP Workforce Now is a plus.
