Job Summary / PurposeThe Manager, HR Business Partners is a key leader in developing, implementing, and continuously improving Talent and Culture plans to maximize the engagement and performance of employees in TBS (Technology & Business Services) with a focus on IT (Information Technology). As a strategic partner and full member of the Information Technology leadership team, the role supports partnerships across HR functions to deliver value-added service that aligns with business objectives.

- Build and develop the HR Business Partner team, ensuring top talent is hired and retained.
- Partner with IT leadership to continuously improve the Talent and Culture strategy for the IT department.
- Support major strategic initiatives (strategy design, facilitation, planning, and implementation).
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Legal, and Finance to provide expertise and change‑management support.
- Lead leadership development initiatives, coaching for business leaders and their teams.
- Provide performance management support, including quarterly performance management and compensation.
- Support Labor Relations and develop labor strategies.
- Identify new opportunities for HR to add value and share best practices across functions.
- Execute workforce planning for the IT organization, including headcount projections and talent sourcing strategies.
- Support employee experience efforts within the business units.
- Model emotionally mature behaviors, demonstrating effective communication, empathy, and strong relationships.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of HR experience; 2+ years leading teams or programs where the employee demonstrated influence producing business results.
- Previous HR Business Partner experience, specifically with a technology related group.
- Experience with transformation and change management.
- Proven technical ability to navigate day‑to‑day duties.
- Substantial business acumen and understanding of the link between HR and business strategy.
- Ability to influence and drive change across enterprise, business units, leaders, and employees.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge of Human Resources functions (Employee Relations, Compensation, Labor Relations, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Organizational Design, and Compliance).
- Diplomatic problem‑solving skills and the ability to provide objective, creative solutions.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Ability to build effective relationships with employees and leadership.
- Ability to champion HR initiatives.
- Highly organized, results‑oriented, and experienced managing complex initiatives with matrixed resources.
- Understanding of cross‑cultural inclusion issues and applicable laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills (written, executive presentations, public speaking).
Skills and Abilities
- Experience responding to formal EEO charges.
- Knowledge of employment laws & regulations (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EO, HIPAA, OSHA).
- Knowledge of employer‑sponsored benefit plans and statutory programs.
